Education

Education is the process of learning, or acquisition of knowledge, skills, values, beliefs, and habits. Educational methods include storytelling, discussion, teaching, training, and research. Education can take place in formal or informal environments and also in an experience that has effect on the way one thinks, feels, or acts.

Children are born without culture. Education guides them in learning culture, behavior and role in society.

Education is concerned with methods of teaching and learning in schools or school-like environments where there is the transmission of the values and accumulated knowledge of a society. Learning in the formal atmosphere makes children learn more of their culture than they are able to do by observing and imitating.

However as society becomes more complex and schools more institutionalized, education becomes less directly related to daily life.

School education plays a great role in life as primary education prepares the base which helps throughout the life. It decides that what type of a person one would be in the future.

B.D.P School

Realizing the value and importance of education, Psycho Educational Society established B.D.P School in the year 2000 in the interiors of Mathura District of Uttar Pradesh at Village Barauli / Block Baldeo, Distt. Mathura, U.P. India. The school is registered with and recognized by UP Board of Education.

The school offers primary middle level education programs starting from lower kindergarten to 8th grade for boys and girls belonging to less privileged sections of the village of Barauli and its neighborhood. Students who pass out 8th standard are admitted to another wing of the school for 9th & 10th to complete the school education in the same school.

Till date, nearly 750 students have successfully completed 8th grade. The strength in one academic session is about 200 students, among which 45.5% are female students. English and Hindi is the medium of instructions for all grades and English is a compulsory subject taught to all students from grade 1. The students passing out from grade 8th are awarded certificates which are valid for seeking higher education.

The school also trains its students to compete with other students of well-established schools of UP state / India. Every academic year a good percentage of students successfully clear the examinations for the award of scholarships for higher education conducted by UP state government.
